INTRODUCTION
Saks Fifth Avenue (Saks Off Fifth Division) wanted to introduce a a sophisticated collection of watches for their target market.
CHALLENGE
American Watch’s objective with the creation of its Saks Fifth Avenue watches was to stay ahead of watch trends, keep up with the current demand for new styles, and manufacture and deliver “just in time” production.
SOLUTION
We engaged a separate in-house design team whose only focus was to keep up the design flow and coordinate production between Saks Fifth Avenue’s buying office and our production facility in Asia.
RESULT
What was to be one season of watch products shifted to three years of very strong timepiece sales. The category ceased from a decision to suspend all Saks Fifth Avenue private label projects.
